DesignOne of the design features, curated entirely by Stefano Pastrovich, that most fascinate about Atlantico is its impressive beam. At 8.3 meters, the Atlantico is as wide as much larger motor yachts. This width is amplified and can reach up to 10.3 meters aft, thanks to the extendable terraces. The swim platform is raised 1.5 meters above the water level, thus eliminating the annoying splash that occurs when the wave motion hits the stern of the ship while at anchor. Plus, it acts as an elegant gangway when mooring in port.On BoardThe interior style follows the same minimalist approach applied to the exterior. Since the ship does not have side walkways on the deck, this area makes the most of the wide beam of the Atlantic. All furniture on the main deck is removable and can be fixed in any position via a series of pins, making it a versatile space for guests or to stow items."We think that designing a deck without fixed furniture helps to free the mind and give space to the owner’s personal creativity", explained designer Stefano Pastrovich.Passing in front of the wheelhouse controls, a 1.5 meter wide pantograph door opens onto the large cockpit at the bow, creating a line of sight from bow to stern. This large area is the perfect relaxation area and can be adorned with a bimini during the summer. Thanks to the two guest cabins and the two crew cabins below deck, it is possible to use the ship even during the night.PerformanceThe ship is designed for fast transfers between islands and exploration of remote bays, the maximum speed of 28 knots makes it a comfortable and safe alternative to the mother ship. The distinctive hull design and flared stern shape provide a comfortable cruising experience, while three Volvo Penta IPS units add a quiet driving experience while taking up considerably less space than traditional marine engines.
