Each of these gorgeous Luxury Buggy by Berluti is handmade from a Volkswagen Beetle chassis and engine, just like the 1964 original. The small but gritty Buggy has a polyester hull that replicates the original fiberglass compound and is also incredibly light weighing just 500 kg. Propulsion is a 1600cc four-cylinder engine cooled with a twin carburetor.

The Buggy is completely decorated with the canvas signed by Berluti’s chief designer, Kris Van Assche and is the same one that more recently was seen on the new line of accessories and bags developed by Berluti in collaboration with Globe-Trotter. Of course, this luxury Buggy is only available to order and is subject to different ways of customization that vary from customer to customer.

The only thing we are sure of is that there will be a large amount of leather fabric: the steering wheel, the dashboard, the gear lever and the two seats are covered in monogrammed leather. The canvas soft-top and removable luggage rack are also finished in leather with the Berluti logo.

Berluti has chosen not to release an indicative price for the iconic Buggy and we can all imagine the reason.
